Israel-Iran War: Israeli Air Force Releases Thermal Imaging Footage of Strikes On Iranian Military Targets After Tehran Hits Soroka Hospital In Tel Aviv

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) on Thursday released thermal imaging aerial footage of attack on Iranian military’s engineering equipment. Several Iranian soldiers were also killed in the Israeli strikes. The footage was released hours after Iran hit Soroka Hospital and several other infrastructural buildings, including the stock exchange building, in Tel Aviv.

“We act out of necessity to protect our civilians. In the last few days, several attempts by Iranian regime to rehabilitate missile launch and storage sites were identified. The IAF targeted the engineering equipment and eliminated soldiers of the Iranian Armed Forces in the area,” the Israeli Air Force said in an X post.

“The IAF continues to operate in Iranian airspace to eliminate threats to Israel’s home front. The IDF will not allow the Iranian regime to rehabilitate launch infrastructure aimed at Israel’s home front,” it added.

Notably, at least 40 people were wounded in the Iranian attacks on Thursday, as per Israel’s Magen David Adom rescue service. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the strike on the Soroka Hospital. He vowed to avenge these trikes.

Israel also carried out attacks on Iran’s Arak heavy water reactor.

On Wednesday, U.S. President Donald Trump issued a strong statement amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, calling on Tehran to surrender in the face of escalating military strikes. In a post on his social media platform, ‘Truth Social’, Trump warned that continued aggression by the Iranian regime would only lead to further devastation and isolation.

In a series of aggressive posts on Truth Social, the US President warned that although the United States has the capability to assassinate Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, it is currently choosing not to, primarily to avoid retaliatory attacks on American civilians and military personnel. Trump claimed that U.S. intelligence knows Khamenei’s exact location and described him as an “easy target,” but stated that action against him is being withheld — at least for now. Emphasising the rising tensions, he declared that American patience is “wearing thin” and ended his posts with a bold, all-caps demand for Iran’s “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER.”

As per a Washington-based Iranian human rights group, at least 639 people, including 263 civilians have been killed, while 1,300 have been injured in Iran since Israel launched ‘Operation Rising Lion’ last week.
