The historic Chetwode Drill Square played host to the Commandant’s Parade for Spring Term 2022 on 09 Jun. The Commandant’s Parade marked the successful culmination of pre-commission training of 377 Indian and 89 Gentleman Cadets from eight friendly foreign countries.

IMA POP Spring Term 2022: Passing Out Parade to be Held on June 11

The ceremonies associated with the Passing Out Parade will commence on 10 Jun 22, with a solemn wreath laying ceremony, where homage will be paid to the brave alumni of this prestigious training academy, 898 of whom have made the supreme sacrifice to uphold the honour of the Nation and protect its Sovereignty, in keeping with the highest traditions of the Indian Army. IAF Conducts Test-Firing of BrahMos Missile From Su-30MkI Aircraft on Eastern Seaboard

The Passing out Parade (POP) of the Indian Military Academy (IMA) for the autumn term 2021 is scheduled to take place on December 11. This time, President Ram Nath Kovind will be the reviewing officer. Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat, Uttarakhand Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Gurmit Singh and the Uttarkhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will also be present at the event.

India on Wednesday successfully test a surface-to-surface ballistic missile, Agni-5. The missile was launched from the APJ Abdul Kalam Island, off the coast of Odisha at 7:50 pm on October 27.
