Dundigal Hyderabad on June 19, 2021, marking the successful culmination of training for 161 Flight Cadets of Flying and Ground Duty Branches in the Indian Air Force. Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria was the Chief Guest and Reviewing Officer of the CGP.
Lieutenant Shivangi SIngh on Tuesday became the first woman fighter pilot of the Indian Air Force’s (IAF’s) Rafale squadron “Golden Arrows”. Flt Lt Shivangi Singh was commissioned into the IAF in 2017. She was part of the the IAF’s second batch of women fighter pilots. Flt Lt Singh is currently undergoing conversion training, and will become part of Squadron no. 17, which is based in Ambala.
Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria reviewed the Combined Graduation Parade (CGP) held at Air Force Academy, Dundigal on June 20, 2020. Garima Abrol, widow of Squadron Leader Samir Abrol one of the Indian Air Force (IAF) pilots who died in a plane crash on February 1, this year in Bengaluru, cleared Services Selection Board (SSB) from AFSB Varanasi in the widow category.
