The Indian Air Force is participating for the first time in Exercise Desert Flag-VI. Air forces of United Arab Emirates, United States of America, France, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Bahrain are also participating in the desert. The exercise is scheduled from March 3, 2021 to March 27, 2021 at Al-Dhafra airbase of the UAE.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) exhibited an extraordinary display of air-to-air refueling of a fighter jet during a two-week long ‘Gagan Shakti 2018’ exercise. A video showed pilots preparing to refuel Sukhoi-30 MKI jet.
