During the ongoing joint military exercise Hand-in-Hand with China at Chengdu, troops of both the nations actively took part in the cultural activities. There was a magnificient display of their cultures by the contingents of the Indian and the Chinese armies. The Indian contingent of 11 SikhLi performed bhangra at the event.

A video on Indian Army soldiers teaching Bhangra lessons to troops of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) during a joint military exercise ‘Hand-in-Hind’ is doing rounds on social media. The joint millitray drill is being conducted in China’s Chengdu from December 10 to 23.
