The trailer of the movie Shershaah was launched on Sunday, on the eve of Kargil Vijay Diwas which is celebrated every year on July 26. Actors Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani and producer Karan Johar reached Kargil for the trailer launch event. The movie is based on the life of Kargil War Hero and Param Vir Chakra winner Shaheed Captain Vikram Batra.

Maximum number of 66 officers were commissioned into the Indian Army from Uttar Pradesh, followed by 38 from Haryana. Among GCs from friendly foreign countries, highest number of 43 cadets were from Afghanistan, followed by 18 from Bhutan.
