The Indigenous Aircraft Carrier “Vikrant” designed by Indian Navy’s Directorate of Naval Design(DND) is being built at Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a Public Sector Shipyard under Ministry of Shipping (MoS).

    The Defence Ministry on Monday signed a contract Mahindra Defence Systems Ltd (MDSL) to acquire 1,300 light combat vehicles for the Indian Army at a cost of Rs 1,056 crore. As per the deal, the MDSL will provide these vehicles to the Indian Army over the period of next four years.
