NAG, Anti Tank Guided Missile, Successfully Clears Final User Trial (Watch Video)
The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) on Thursday successfully completed the final user trial of third generation Anti Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) NAG. The trial was conducted at 6:45 am rom Pokhran range. According to the DRDO, The missile was integrated with the actual warhead and a tank target was kept at designated range.
BrahMos, Supersonic Cruise Missile, Successfully Test-Fired From Indian Navy’s Stealth Destroyer INS Chennai
India on Monday successfully test-fire BrahMos, the supersonic cruise missile, from Indian Navy’s indigenously-built stealth destroyer INS Chennai. BrahMos hit a target in the Arabian Sea during the test-firing. The missile hit the target successfully with pin-point accuracy after performing high-level and extremely complex manoeuvres.
India Successfully Test-Fires Extended Range BrahMos Cruise Missile Off Odisha Coast
India on Wednesday successfully test-fired BrahMos surface-to-surface supersonic cruise missile. The missile was test fired at around 10:30 am from indigenous Booster and Airframe Section along with many other ‘Made in India’ sub-systems. Extended range BrahMos blasted off from ITR, Balasore in Odisha.
Rajnath Singh on India-China Standoff in Ladakh: Defence Minister Says ‘Border Dispute Unresolved, China Unilaterally Alter Status Quo’
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday addressed the Lok Sabha over the India-China border dispute in the Eastern Ladakh. During his address in the Lok Sabha, Singh said that the border issue is unresolved. The Defence Minister further added that no mutually acceptable solution has been reached by both the countries until now. Giving a strong warning to China, Singh said that India would not compromise with its sovereignty.
‘Indian Army Soldiers Have Fired Warning Shots at PLA Troops at Line of Actual Control in Ladakh’, Claims China
China on Monday claimed that the Indian Army soldiers fired warning shots on People’s Liberation Army (PLA) troops at the Line of Actual Control (LAC). A PLA spokesperson said that Chinese border guards were forced to take counter countermeasures to stabilise the situation. However, India has not reacted to the Chinese claim.
