Lt Gen Manoj Pande will take charge as the chief of the Indian Army’s Eastern Command on Tuesday, i.e. June 1. He will succeeds Lt Gen Anil Chauhan. IAF Cheif RKS Bhadauria Flies Missing Man Formation in Mig-21 BISON to Pay Tribute to Sqaudron Leader Abhinav Choudhary
The Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria on Thursday [paid tribute to Squadron Leader Abhinav Choudhary, who lost his life in Mig-21 Bison crash last week, by flying “missing man” formation. Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria flew the “missing man” formation in a MiG-21 Bison aircraft.

An Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot Squadron Leader Abhinav Chaudhary was killed in an Mig-21 BISON aircraft crash on Thursday night. The accident took place Punjab’s Moga district. A Court of Inquiry (CoI) has been ordered to investigate the crash. The aircraft was on a routine training sortie when the accident occurred.
INS Rajput, the first destroyer of the Indian Navy, will be decommissioned on May 21, 2021 after the service of over 41 years. INS Rajput, the lead ship of the Kashin-class destroyers built by the erstwhile USSR was commissioned on May 4, 1980 and has rendered yeoman service to the Indian Navy for over four decades.
