Maj Gen Alok Joshi, Officiating Commandant, Indian Military Academy inaugurated the Indoor Club Exhibition at Indian Military Academy. The exhibition captivated attendees with a vibrant display of creativity and talent. The air was charged with excitement as Officer Cadets showcased their diverse skills and passions, turning the venue into a dynamic hub of artistic expression.
Indian Military Academy’s ‘Computer Design Club’ introduced a digital newsletter highlighting the soldierly, scholarly, and gentlemanly training of Officer Cadets, showcasing their remarkable achievements through top-notch graphic designing. The club also unveiled an Inventory Management Software, designed to elevate efficiency in organizational inventory management. Within the club’s creation, the Training Cum Achiever’s Video encapsulated the essence of military training and the outstanding accomplishments of officer cadets, serving as an authentic source of inspiration for all.
The Indian Military Academy’s ‘Journalism and Literature Club’ shone in the Autumn 2023 term, showcasing creativity in poems, book reviews, and compelling articles. Yet, stealing the limelight was the ‘Meme Dump’—a witty collection encapsulating life at the academy, from drill ustads to seniors and officers. This blend of humor and observation left an enduring mark on all who saw it.
Indian Military Academy’s ‘Jigyasa Club’ showcased the curiosity and innovative mindsets of the cadets of the ACC Wing who developed four projects in the Jigyasa Lab in collaboration with UNISED. The projects developed included a Hexacopter Rover Drone, a Flying Eagle which is a convertible drone, an Auto Solider which is a robot with a mounted Gun & an anti-sleeping alarm. The cadets flew the Hexacopter Rover Drone over IMA which left a lasting impression on all who witnessed it.
The OC’s of the ‘Arts Club’ made a replica of the historic chetwode building encompassing all the minute details. They also worked on Pottery and Quelling Art where they pushed themselves beyond their comfort zones to try something new.
From captivating art installations to interactive displays, the exhibition offered a sensory feast for all who attended. The event not only celebrated the culmination of dedicated efforts but also fostered a sense of community and appreciation for the various clubs contributing to the rich tapestry of interests within the institution. It marked a memorable moment where individuals came together to celebrate shared passions and embrace the boundless potential of collaboration within the vibrant club community. The exhibition will go on from 01 Dec 2023 to 09 Dec 2023 at Arts Gallery of Indian Military Academy.
