Maximum number of 66 officers were commissioned into the Indian Army from Uttar Pradesh, followed by 38 from Haryana. Among GCs from friendly foreign countries, highest number of 43 cadets were from Afghanistan, followed by 18 from Bhutan.

IMA POP Spring Term 2021 Award Ceremony: Prestigious Motivation Trophy Awarded To GC From Bhutan Kinley Norbu, Afghan GC Ehsanullah Saadat Also Felicitated
The Indian Military Academy awarded the prestigious motivational trophy to a Foreign Gentlemen Cadet (FGC) from Kingdom of Bhutan in true recognition of his excellent all round performance. Junior Under Officer, Kinley Norbu, won the awards on being adjudged as Best in Physical Training, Best in Turn out and Drill.
Hand-in-Hand Exercise 2018: Indian Army Troops Perform Bhangra During Joint Military Drill; Watch Video
During the ongoing joint military exercise Hand-in-Hand with China at Chengdu, troops of both the nations actively took part in the cultural activities. There was a magnificient display of their cultures by the contingents of the Indian and the Chinese armies. The Indian contingent of 11 SikhLi performed bhangra at the event.
