Gauri Mahadik, the wife of martyred Major Prasad Mahadik on Saturday joined the Indian Army as a commissioned officer after the passing out ceremony held at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai. The 33-year-old Gauri commissined into the Indian Army as a Lieutenant after completing the 11-month training.
