NAG, Anti Tank Guided Missile, Successfully Clears Final User Trial (Watch Video)

The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) on Thursday successfully completed the final user trial of third generation Anti Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) NAG. The trial was conducted at 6:45 am rom Pokhran range. According to the DRDO, The missile was integrated with the actual warhead and a tank target was kept at designated range.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday laid the Foundation Stone for construction of two underpasses at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun. The inauguration was done electronically from New Delhi by Singh and was e-witnessed by the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Bipin Rawat, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General MM Naravane, and GOC-in-C Army Training Command, Lieutenant General Raj Shukla.

Rajnath Singh on India-China Standoff in Ladakh: Defence Minister Says ‘Border Dispute Unresolved, China Unilaterally Alter Status Quo’

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday addressed the Lok Sabha over the India-China border dispute in the Eastern Ladakh. During his address in the Lok Sabha, Singh said that the border issue is unresolved. The Defence Minister further added that no mutually acceptable solution has been reached by both the countries until now. Giving a strong warning to China, Singh said that India would not compromise with its sovereignty.

Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday attended the Victory Day Parade held at Red Square in Russia capital Moscow. Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister was among the special invitees to the event, which marked the 75th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany. The Tri-Service contingent of the Indian Armed Forces comprised of 75 all ranks and marched along with contingents of Russian Armed Forces and 17 other countries.

The first bi-annual Commanders’ Conference of Indian Air Force (IAF) for the year 2019 began today at the Air Headquarters (Vayu Bhawan). Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal B S Dhanoa PVSM AVSM YSM VM ADC, welcomed the Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to the conference. Sitharaman addressed the Air Force Commanders.
