The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday announced the results of Class 10 exams. Army Goodwill Schools run by the Indian Army performed outstandingly in the Class 10th CBSE board exams. Hittam Ayoub from AGS Rajouri topped with 94.20 percent. There are 43 AGSs in Jammu and Kashmir out of which three are affiliated to the CBSE. These schools have digital classrooms, modern labs, well-stocked library and excellent sports infrastructure

Meanwhile, the total pass percentage in CBSE Class-10th Exams is 91.1 percent. A total of 99.85 percent students cleared the exams in Thiruvananthapuram, 99 percent in Chennai, and 95.89 percent in Ajmer. Siddhant Pengoriya and Divyansh Wadhwa of the Dehradun division topped the exams. More than 17 lakh students had appeared for CBSE Class X exams. Last year, 16.38 lakh students appeared for the class 10 board exams. The CBSE 12th result 2019 was announced on May 2 and 83.7 percent students passed the exams.
