Recently, a video surfaced on social media showing soldiers of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) soldier crying after they reportedly being sent to India-China border along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh sector. In the video, the young Chinese soldiers could be seen sitting inside a bus and some of them were crying.
They were also singing a famous Chinese military song “Green Flowers in the Army”. The video was published online last week by a local network in the eastern Chinese province of Anhui, reported Hindustan Times. War of words broke out between Chinese and Taiwanese media. Video of PLA Soldiers Reportedly Crying Over Their Deployment Along LAC:
As per Liberty Times and Taiwan News, known for their anti-China stand, mocked the the PLA soldiers for crying by claiming that they feared their deployment along the Indo-Sino border in Ladakh. The soldiers in the video are reportedly from the Yingzhou district of Fuyang city in Anhui. Initially, the video was posted on WeChat page of Fuyang City Weekly. The situation in eastern Ladakh deteriorated after around 250 Chinese and Indian soldiers were engaged in a violent face-off on the evening of May 5 .Over 100 Indian and Chinese soldiers were injured in the violence. The incident in Pangong Tso was followed by a similar incident in north Sikkim on May 9. Notably, India has captured advantageous positions in the southern bank of Pangong Tso lake. Last weeks reports also surfaced that the Indian Army occupied six new heights on the China border in the past few days.
