    Giving a boost to “Make in India” programme, he Indian Air Force (IAF) on Wednesday inducted Tejas Mk-1 Final Operation Clearance (FOC) aircraft into the recently resurrected No 18 Squadron, the “Flying Bullets” at Air Force Station Sulur.     The “Flying Bullets”, No. 18 Squadron, of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will be made operational on Wednesday at Sulur Airbase by the Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhaduaria. Col Navjot Singh Bal passed away in Bengaluru Thursday morning after battling with cancer for two years. He was 39 years old and was icon for young officers.

    Gauri Mahadik, the wife of martyred Major Prasad Mahadik on Saturday joined the Indian Army as a commissioned officer after the passing out ceremony held at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai. The 33-year-old Gauri commissined into the Indian Army as a Lieutenant after completing the 11-month training.
