China on Monday claimed that the Indian Army soldiers fired warning shots on People’s Liberation Army (PLA) troops at the Line of Actual Control (LAC). A PLA spokesperson said that Chinese border guards were forced to take counter countermeasures to stabilise the situation. However, India has not reacted to the Chinese claim.
The PLA also claimed that the Indian Army “illegally”crossed the LAC and entered the south bank of Pangong Lake and the Shenpao mountain area. Chinese called it “serious provocations of a very bad nature”. China also asked India to stop “dangerous actions”.
