In one such incident, An Indian Army doctor posted at Western Command Hospital in Chandimandir, Major Simrat Rajdeep Singh, saved the life of a civilian when he was travelling from Goa to Chandigarh onboard an IndiGo flight.

Lt Gen. Upendra Dwivedi Appointed As New Army Chief, Set To Take Charge On June 30
Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi on Tuesday was appointed as the next Chief of Army Staff (COAS). Lt Gen Dwivedi is currently serving as the Vice Chief of Army Staff. He will assume charge from General Manoj Pande on June 30.
