The Indian Army is not only known for its bravery and exceptional military skills on the battlefield but also for helping civilians in their time of need. In one such incident, An Indian Army doctor posted at Western Command Hospital in Chandimandir, Major Simrat Rajdeep Singh, saved the life of a civilian when he was travelling from Goa to Chandigarh onboard an IndiGo flight.
